Landon had sisters - 5 of them!

Well, we did it...and I don't think Landon would mind having all that attention from these girls again. As for us, well, the girls were seriously SOOO good! but 6 kids is a bit different from 1. These girls were very helpful and really didn't even cry. They minded and did all the things they were supposed to, and they were a lot of fun!

Here's what we did...
What trip to Amber's house would be complete without doing hair?
Annie
Livie

Lucy
We took pictures of the back so they could see what it looked like.
And of course we painted nails, but no photo evidence of that.

CLEANING
Now this brought a bit less enjoyment
Bribery works, and is highly suggested
Annie worked HARD, even before the threats/bribery, but every little bit helped
Livie found it her duty to supervise and report to Matt and myself when anyone else wasn't cleaning
Lucy - now this girl is a quick little whipper snapper when things such as "no FHE treat for anyone who doesn't help" is said
Liza, well, she enjoyed moseying around the room occasionally picking up a toy and placing it elsewhere, usually not in the toy box, but what can you expect from a 3 year old?

New Doll!
Landon fit quite well inside the girl's doll stroller
He looks so unsure of all of this.
Home School project!
Liza and Lucy were home all day with me (obviously) and so one day when they were board out of their minds I taught them about volcanoes and we made our own

Sorry that we used ALL of your vinegar
The girls LOVED this, that night we showed them a different kind of volcano, unfortunately we didn't get any pictures! If you have never tried this - do it! take a 2 liter of diet soda (pepsi or coke) and mentos (mint flavored) and drop the mentos into the 2 liter and stand back quick.
Try it! very fun!
EATING

The girls loved making bug faces out of their breakfasts - very cute and creative.
Thanks uncle Matt #1 for the bacon and sausage! Delicious!

The girls ate well, and really no complaint. Now Liza again likes to be a little outside of the box and she had her bits to say about what we ate and how she only wanted "chips, the orange ones" with lots of tears, again, she's 3. She got to eat them as long as she had 1/10th of a banana.
Lucy loved to cuddle with me but the rest of the girls wanted to sit with Matt
Matt looks good with 5 kids - um only if we are babysitting. He taught a FHE lesson on how to show your parents that you missed them by doing things a little better when they get home. He then had all of the girls say one thing they would do different when their parents got home to show them that they love them and miss them. All of their responses were very cute and kind, and HONEST such as Lucy's
"I will probably just forget their names and call them Matt and Kirsten"
Classic Lucy!
The girls were SO good! Amber and Gary you should be proud!
And this picture speaks for the Chidester family on how we felt once all was said and done!
Oh just sleep!
Thanks girls!
